No, Royal Mail state on their website:
"We aim to deliver Royal Mail Tracked 24 the next working day and Royal Mail Tracked 48 within two to three working days."
Whilst most Royal Mail Tracked 24 items are delivered the next day, some can take two to three days. Likewise, Royal Mail Tracked 48 can take three to five days in some exceptional circumstances.

During the current Covid-19 situation, there may be some significant delays to any delivery service. The courier services are performing better than Royal Mail during these difficult times.
