How does it differ from the OEM Timken version? the price is almost 100 pounds difference. For example, are these safe, do they wear out faster, suitable for gravel roads, or other important things to mention?

These are aftermarket parts from the far east. They still have a 12-month warranty.
Timken is the original supplier to Land Rover so a Timken bearing is essentially the same part that was used when the car was built.
