is the tool ready for one family or is there need for purchasing an unlock code when bying the tool?
Is the tool unlocked for one family out of the box when buying it or does one have to purchase an unlock code at the beginning for using the tool with a first land rover family?

The Lynx EVO diagnostic tool is ready to work out of the box and will work on one model family group. You only have to buy an extra unlock code if you want to also use it on another model family group.
