A 22 digit number will not be a Land Rover part number, that will be an engineering or casting number. Land Rover part numbers nearly always start with LR.......
The only sure way to know is by comparing your existing compressor with our photo of the original Hitachi type compressor or later replacement AMK type compressor. Even if your existing compressor is a copy, it should look more like one than the other.
Your 2005 Discovery would have originally had a Hitachi compressor fitted but it could well have already been changed and may have been replaced by an AMK type compressor.
