No, This is not a remote control engine starter. This device allows the remote starting of the factory-fitted fuel-burning heater or FBH or auxiliary heater. It pre-heats the coolant and circulates it around the engine and heating system so when you get in your car, it is easier to start, and you get instant hot air from the heating system in the cabin. It is possible to add extra relays to turn the fan on but is not really necessary. Just 20-25 minutes of pre-heating is all that is required for instant hot air, a little longer on really cold days.
