Is this part suitable for a 2002 FL1 V6 model? My VIN begins 2A and not 1A.

Possibly if it has been modified or replaced by Land Rover under warranty. It is best to do a visual check; some had a short extra wiring harness or adaptor fitted or were fitted with a different type of switch.
