For a 2017 Discovery Sport diesel, you will need the later GAP IIDTool G4 version (TFIIDBTG4) rather than the older G3 model.
The IIDTool G4 supports the Discovery Sport and provides access to the full range of functions listed, including fault code reading and clearing, service resets, live data, programming and configuration changes, calibration procedures, and many dealer-level diagnostic functions.
